| Technology Our technology group includes attorneys with interdisciplinary experience from all of our practice areas. Unlike other law firms who recently have formed a specialized technology practice, our firm has been advising technology clients for many years, and handling technology-related issues for our other clients. Our clients have been involved in the biotechnology, broadband communication, computer software, computer hardware, e-commerce, electronic component, engineering consulting, medical device, nuclear irradiation and video conferencing industries, among others, and we have counseled them in substantially all of their legal affairs. As a result of the educational and work experiences of the attorneys in our technology group, we are familiar with the appropriate "jargon" of these clients and understand their technology. We have broad experience in matters relating to intellectual property and technology sharing and licensing, and frequently represent "dot com" companies in their various business dealings. Members of the group have represented both vendors and customers in various types of technical agreements and joint ventures, and computer hardware, software, facility and turn-key agreements, as well as website development and technology transfer agreements. |
