Linda Genero Sklaren is an experienced commercial litigator with over 20 years of experience, specializing in construction cases, complex business disputes, multi-district and class actions. Ms. Sklaren has represented a wide variety of clients, including project owners, engineers, architects, contractors, construction managers, foreign and domestic corporations, domestic and international contract carriers, an oil company, banks and investment banking institutions, and more than seventy-five individuals as lead Defense and Liaison Counsel in a multi-district securities action in federal district court, the southern district of New York.

Ms. Sklaren was first admitted to the bar in Michigan where she practiced general commercial litigation with Miller, Canfield, Paddock & Stone. She thereafter moved to New York, where initially, she worked as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of New York in the construction litigation division. Directly prior to joining this firm she was a partner at Berman, Paley Goldstein & Kannry, LLP, where she concentrated on construction and general commercial litigation, and also counseled clients on contract and business matters. She graduated from The University of Detroit Law School, cum laude, where she was Articles Editor of the Law Review. She received her undergraduate degree in music from Boston University, the School of Fine Arts, where she majored in voice and performance. Ms. Sklaren is admitted to the bar in New York and Michigan.
