Mr. Kannry is an attorney and professional engineer with more than 35 years of construction industry experience. His primary specialization is in construction and environmental law and litigation, with representation of contractors, construction managers, engineers, architects and governmental authorities in public and private sector matters in New York, as well as in other regional and national jurisdictions.

This practice encompasses construction and environmental claims prosecution and defense through trials, arbitrations, mediations, administrative boards and appeals; similar representation in architect and engineer liability suits; and contracts development and negotiations, as well as business counseling, during the planning, design, funding, bidding and construction phases of heavy and building projects.

His bar admissions include New York; U.S. Supreme Court; U.S. Court of Appeals, 2nd and 4th Circuits; U.S. District Court, SDNY, EDNY, WDNY; U.S. Court of Federal Claims; and numerous pro hac vice admissions in federal and state court litigations, including New Jersey, Connecticut, Maryland, Florida, Michigan, Texas, California and Oregon.

Prior to joining our firm in 2007 as partner and chair of our construction law group, Mr. Kannry had extensive experience as managing partner/senior litigation partner at the construction law firm of Berman, Paley, Goldstein & Kannry, LLP, after having been an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of New York Law Department and an associate attorney with Corner, Finn, Cuomo & Charles.

A speaker at numerous seminars on construction law before contractor associations, engineering and legal professional societies, and his alma mater, Fordham University School of Law, Mr. Kannry is also the author of related published papers.
