
Since joining our firm in 1981, Mr. Fryd has specialized
in complex commercial litigation. He has represented individuals
and corporations (including Fortune 500 companies and local
banks) both as plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of
contexts, including general contract issues, employment relations,
tortious interference with contractual relations, RICO, defamation,
fraud, accountants' malpractice, individual and shareholder
derivative actions, dissolution of corporations and partnerships,
and banking.
After graduation from law school in 1977, Mr. Fryd became an
associate at the New York City law firm of Cahill Gordon &
Reindel, where he also specialized in complex commercial litigation.
Mr. Fryd is a summa cum laude graduate of Queens College of
the City University of New York (B.A. 1974), and a cum laude
graduate of the University of Chicago Law School (J.D. 1977).
He is admitted to the bars of the United States District Court
for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the
Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
